CHAPTER 69: Into the Realm Eternal(Part 3)

The visitors are now facing a huge dilemma in their hands. Not only are Hebarn's forces attack on all directions, but there is also the fact that some of their own allies are turning against them.

Lucid: This is getting way out of hand!
Kirnale: Hosea! What Treachery is this?!
Hosea: We swear! We aren't doing anything here! Them soldiers are just randomly attacking us!
Elysia: No. I believe the dark energies of the desert are strong that weak minds are easily being manipulated!
Lilith: So that means...
Elysia: Yep. They're being controlled.
Eriol: Then what should we do?! We're about to be trapped here!
Larg: Perhaps the box can help us!
Elysia: Good thinking!

Soon, Elysia went into the middle of the possessed soliders and opened the box. The others took notice as a light shines from the box.

Kirnale: Elysia what are you thinking?! Do you wanna commit suicide?!
Lilith: Yeah, why do you have to act like a martyr?!
Elysia: Believe me, this is for our sake, now show me the contents of this box!

Soon, a great flash of light covered the area, and the monsters were eradicated. Soon, a great fairy appeared and exorcised the corrupted soldiers. The fairy also buffed the visitors and their allies and made them immune to the effects of the desert's dark energies. Then, the fairy vanished...

Lilith: What was that?
Elysia: This must be, Yuuko's aid to us.
Namiele: I feel.. Stronger...
Elysia: That is because Yuuko gave us her blessing.
Lucid: Yeah... That yuuko is one such being, eh?
Elysia: Tell me about it. But She doesnt always interfere like this. She prefers the direct approach.
Kirnale: Well, so be it.
Maru: Look! look!
Moro: There are more larger enemies heading towards us!
Hosea: Let us handle this! We believe that with our newfound strength, we can fight these monsters easily! Charge!!!

Soon, Hosea's men attacked the monsters and as expected, they're able to fend them off. Soon, the army, as wellas Lucid and his team pursued the fleeing creatures until they reached a large Citadel at the northeastern Edge of the desert.

Namiele: I have a bad feeling about this...
Hosea: Yeah.. This place gives me the creeps...
Lucid: This must be the main base of operations of Hebarn's forces...
Kirnale: Agreed. But we'll never know until we get inside.
Lucid: Yes. We must enter, but be cautious! We do not know what lies inside this forbidden citadel.

Soon, they entered the citadel. As they walk through the halles, they saw many dark figures and symbols, all of them related to the Goddess of Malice herself. Soon, they reached the main hall of the citadel, but a voice startled them all...

Voice: Foolish mortals! Do you think you can beat the powers of darkness?!
Lucid: We can and we shall! No one can stop us!
Voice: Really now?! Well then, feel the wrath of Hebarn's greatest beast!

Soon, The starcases and the wall in front of them was destroyed as the large creature appeared to Lucid and his army. It had a body of a Grand Master Golem, Hands of the fearsome turak and the tail and wings of a worm dragon, it's head was a large human skull, burning and with a gem on it's forehead. It had two large axes and he threw one of them towards the army, forcing them to scramble. Soon, the creature growled and started looking for his prey.

Kirnale: What should we do now?!
Hosea: This is not good...
Lucid: Why give up now?! After all we've been through?!
Hosea: But what else do we do then?!
Lucid: Fight! That's what! even if we die right now, still, at least the let the world know that we have made a stand, here and now! Now enough talk! We got a big ugly here to be slaughtered!
All: Yeah!

Soon, the visitors as well as the army attacked the elusive goliath, knowing taht even at the cost of their lives, their bravery shall never be forgotten...

CHAPTER 68: Into the Realm Eternal(Part 2)

As the army of the inhabitants led by Lucid and his party travel towards the entrance of the desert of the dead, Hector and Medusa are now preparing for their welcoming party as they have finally arrived at the desert of the dead.

Medusa: At last, we've returned here...
Hector: Yes.. It's been a while...
Medusa: We have to make sure we shouldn't screw up this time..
Hector: Don't worry, our Creature is strong enough to destroy that puny army.
Medusa: But to be sure, we gotta send in some reinforcements..

Soon, Medusa opened a portal, and thousands of demons and undead minions came out of it. Soon, their war machines and other weapons have arrived. From the way Hector and Medusa assembled their forces, it seems they're really capable of easily defeating the visitors.

Medusa: With this, we'll be unstoppable!
Hector: You certain?
Medusa: Of course! These demons are our elite guard. There's no way that puny army will defeat them.
Hector: They'll run away with fear, when they see our forces!
Medusa: Even better, they'll worship us!!
Hector: Good plan, Medusa! This'll be one party they'll never forget!
Medusa: Too bad they'll be dead before they can even remember it!

The two minions laughed like animals as their forces prepared to defend the fallen desert from the coming army. Meanwhile back at Lucid's forces, they're at the entrance of the desert of the dead.

Lucid: Alright, everyone! We're now at the entrance of the desert of the dead.
Namiele: I sense really strong magical energies here.
Eriol: Indeed. Must be Hebarn's doing.
Hosea: Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's get inside!
Elysia: Wait. We have to make sure that it's safe.

Soon, Elysia casted a fireball into the desert and explosions were heard everywhere.

Hosea: Yikes...
Elysia: Exactly. We gotta proceed with caution.
Kirnale: Agreed. We gotta watch each other's backs.
Lilith: Yep. Otherwise, we'll end up ina gruesome death.
Hosea: Yep. Let's go!

Soon, they entered the desert. It was eeriely quiet. Soon, they arrived at the ruins of the old town. They started setting up camp to stay for the night.

Lucid: What happened here?!
Hosea: This desert was once an ordinary desert, but after the spread of the devil pest, this desert has become a symbol of pain and darkness.
Elysia: Yes.. and I believe the effects are irreversible...
Namiele: Seems that we need to seal the magical energies of the place once we're done here...
Maru: Look! Look!
Moro: Some of the soldiers are turning berserk!

The soldiers started attacking the visitors, but Eriol, Namiele and Elysia was able to contain the corrupted soldiers in a stasis field. Soon, monsters attacked and some of the soldiers became corrupted as well.

Lucid: Look's like the welcoming party has come at last!

Soon, the prelude to the greatest battle in the realm has begun, as visitors struggle to fend off the obstacles placed in front of them...

CHAPTER 67: Into the Realm Eternal (Part 1)

Soon, Lucid and his party arrived at Anima Lake, in front of the main gate that leads to the City of Junon Polis. As soon as they arrived they we're impressed by the large army assembled by the different towns...

Lucid: Wow.. I never thought they would assemble this large army in such a short notice...
Kirnale: Yeah.. It seems that the inhabitants are willing to fight alongside us after all...
Namiele: Hopefully, this army would be skilled enough to fight the Enemy...
Voice: Of course we are! We trained ourselves hard to fight them!

Soon, from behind the ranks came the commander of the united forces, Hosea Altrois.

Hosea: Greetings. I am Hosea Altrois. I'm the command of this army. You must be the visitors destined to save this world, 'ne?
Lucid: Indeed we are.
Eriol: We're sent by Arua to save this world from Hebarn's evil grasp.
Lilith: We have survived through all obstacles and challenges.
Maru: We have faced many difficulties!
Moro: And yet here we are!
Elysia: Yes.. We're here to help you guys.
Hosea: Yes. Thank you for your great help. But it's now time for us to do our part.
Lucid: Eyng?
Hosea: you see, all the towns have made an alliance and most of their armies have come here to assist you in your fight!
Kirnale: I understand. Thank you for helping us.
Hosea: No problem. Now when shall we strike?
Soldier: Sir Sir! Terrible news! (Trips over a rock and falls, throws rock and hits Hosea's face.)
Hosea: What did you do that for?! Do you wanna die?!
Soldier: Sorry sir! I just tripped!
Hosea: Tripped is nothing! Now what are you trying to tell me?!
Soldier: Forces of the Ikaness Order are coming!
Hosea: What?!
Lucid: Ikaness Order?!
Kirnale: Here?!
Namiele: We gotta fight! and fast!
Hosea: Don't worry, our soldiers will handle this! Soldiers! attack!

Soon, the battle has begun. Ikaness soldiers began fighting against the resistance forces. It was a bloody battle. Both sides claiming casualties. But then, the visitors arrived and slowly the Ikaness forces have retreated. Soon, the visitors and their allies are celebrating their army. But Elysia was uncertain whether or not the army can endure the coming battles...

Elysia: Hosea... Are you sure about fighting alongside us?
Hosea: To be quite honest.. No.
Elysia: Then why fight with us?!
Hosea: We want to pay you back! After all the numerous deeds you have done to us, we have to pay you back!
Lucid: Let them be, Elysia. If they want to fight, let them. They know the risks...
Elysia: Very well then...
Larg: Puu! Yuuko has sent you a box!
Elysia: A box?

Soon, Elysia examines the box and read "do not open this unless it is needed." Elysia finally understood this and place the box in her inventory.

Lucid: Alright.. We have to get some rest. We got a score to settle with Hebarn in the desrt of the dead!
All: Right!

Soon, the visitors and the soldiers rested, as tomorrow they will start their journey, towards the desert of the dead...

CHAPTER 66: Intermission

Meanwhile, as the visitors are resting in their camp, the Gods have been carefully watching their movements and have seen that they have quite improved....

Eldeon: Hmmm... It seems that they have quite improved from thei previous experiences...
Karkia: (Wears mask of Joy) Yes.. I believe they are starting to grow stronger as time passes by!
Eldeon: At this rate they could be unstoppable!
Orlo: We can't be too sure yet... Remember, the dark Lady, Hebarn as well as her minions have ways to beating the visitors...
Eldeon: Yes... But I'm sure the visitors can do well..
Orlo: I hope so...

Soon, Arua, Ska and Junon, as well as Phage, Altana and Lilith arrived in the hall where Eldeon and the other Gods are observing...

Arua: Hmm.. how are the visitors?
Eldeon: Doing well, I suppose.
Orlo: They were lucky that they are able to pass the test and gain the sword of the ancients...
Junon: Really now? It's as expected from the warriors...
Phage: Nice.. However, the problem now is, are they really prepared to face Hebarn's darkest minions in the desert of the dead?
Lilith(Demigod): Well, even if they have a large army watching their backs, it would be a tremendous task to defeat Hebarn and her Dark Minions...
Altana: I must agree with that.. Hebarn's dark minions are a true force to be reckoned with..
Junon: Yes.. But I know that, with the sword of the ancients, I'm sure they'll be able to overcome any obstacle...
Voice: Are you sure about that?

Soon, a young woman appeared out of a portal behind the Gods. It was yuuko.

Arua: Yuuko.. What are you doing here again?
Yuuko: I'm here just to give you guys a hand...
Ska: I thought you're not allowed to interfere directly, like the rest of us.
Yuuko: Why yes. However, I can do it... Indirectly that is...

Soon, Yuuko placed her hand in one of her pockets and grabbed a mysterious box.

Karkia:(Wears mask of wondering) what's in the box?
Orlo: hopefully not a bomb...
Yuuko: Don't Worry, inside this box is another item that would be of great use to the visitors...
Ska: Are you sure about this,? as in we dont know what's indie that box!
Yuuko: Yes, and believe me, it'll be of great help to all of us. I'll just send this to Larg... ^^
Arua: We trust you on this Yuuko... I hope that thing of yours will work.
Yuuko: It will. Now, I'm must return to my own dimension.
Junon: Very well then... We hope you will continue to help us..
Yuuko: I will.

Soon, Yuuko left. Leaving the God to wonder what is inside the box. Meanwhile on the Planet Hebarn, Hebarn and her minions having been observing the visitors as well..

Hebarn: So.. They have claimed the sword of the Gods eh..?
Hector: Yes, my lady.. I believe they are now en route to anima lake to meet up with the resistance forces.
Medusa: But dont feel threatened, my lady.. The moster that we made will make sure everything will go Just as planned.
Hebarn: And I have faith in both of you for that. This is your last chance. Should that monster fail, the two of you will both die!
Hector and Medusa: Yes! We understand!

Soon, Hector and Medusa left along with the new beast. Hebarn, standing at her window, was staring at the chaotic sky, knowing that the time of Judgement is at hand...

CHAPTER 65: The Escape

When Lucid raised the sword of the Ancients, the Ground started shaking violently. It was as if an earthquake is bound to happen..

Kirnale: Ok Lucid.. What did you do this time?!
Lucid: Hey.. I just picked up the sword! Honest!
Namiele: This must be the last trap the Worm dragon prepared for us...
Elysia: Yeah... Apparently.. If he dies, he wants us to die with him...
Lilith: Well, there's little time to lose! We gotta get out of here!
Lucid: Lilith's right. We gotta escape or risk getting caved in!

Soon, the visitors left the hall and rushed towards the exit.. However, some parts of the way out are blocked.

Kirnale: Crap! The way is blocked!
Lucid: and I'm guessing much of the path is as well..
Lilith: Stand back guys! I'm gonna blast our way out!
Namiele: I'll help out as well!
Elysia: Same here!

Soon, Elysia, Namiele and Lilith was able to clear the path and the visitors moved on. Soon, rocks started falling and the whole cave is finally falling apart.

Lucid: There' isnt much time! We gotta get outta here!
Kirnale: uhh... Lucid.. We might get delayed here...
Lucid: Why?
Eriol: Better look and see...

They saw a huge skeleton army infront of them. Behind the army lies the exit.

Maru: Wow... That sure is a lot of them...
Moro: Yeah.. You think we can manage?
Lucid: We have beaten before, we can beat through them again!
Lilith: but we are wasting precious time if we try to beat them again!
Elysia: I say, we just rush through them.
Lucid: Good Idea. On 3, we rush em. Ready?
All: Ready.
Lucid: On 3.
All: THREE!

Soon, the visitors rushed through the massive skeleton army. It was hard but they managed to barely survive the assault and got out safely. Soon, they saw the cave collapsing and the Worm Dragon's Lair was no more...

Lucid: Ah finally, it's good to be on the outside world again...
Lilith: Yeah.. At least now we'll be able to rest for the time being...

Soon, Sugar and Pepper appeared.

Sugar: Guys! Guys! The Goddess has a new mission for you!
Lucid: What is it?
Pepper: She said you must go and meet up with the army that the inhabitants of the realm of Junon have made...
Kirnale: Where are they now?
Sugar: Currently at Anima Lake. They're preparing to strike at the bastion of the Dark Goddess Hebarn at the desert of the dead.
Lucid: Sure. We'll go there by tomorrow morning... For now, let us rest... We've been through hell and back and we're too tired to go back to the lake...
Pepper: Alright. should we tell the commander of the forces there?
Kirnale: Go ahead.
Sugar: Thanks. good luck on you journey!
Lucid: Yeah... and hopefully with the new sword that we have, we can finally put an end into this...

Soon, the visitors set up camp and rested, for tomorrow, they will have to meet up with the Army of the inhabitants and hopefully put an end to Hebarn's cruel quest.

CHAPTER 64: Into The Dragon's Pit (Part 8)

The visitors are in an apocalyptic situation: Pillars of fire are busting from the ground below and stalagmites and large boulders are raining from above. The worm dragon and his minions kept of firing fireballs. The visitors are in a deadly trap: should they noget hit by the fireballs, the stalagmites and the fire pillars can destroy them. Soon, the visitors are trapped in a corner, fearing for their lives.

Maru: Oh no.. We'r all doomed!
Moro: No.. We can't die in a place like this!!!!
Lilith: This looks like the end for us all..
Kirnale: Yeah.. Been nice knowing you guys...
Lucid: No! We can't give up just yet!
Kirnale: What do you mean?! We're in a lose-lose situation!
Lucid: No! We'll never know until we try! We gotta keep on fighting!
Namiele: Lucid's right. We can't just stand here and wait for our doom.
Eriol: Indeed. It's better to die with honor out there than to cower here in the darkness...
Elysia: Besides, we have a lot of things to do fater this... We gotta finish them otherwise the Goddess will not be pleased!
Lucid: Yeah.I say, we gotta stand up and fight! We shouldn't be like chickens! But rather we should be likebeasts thristing for blood! We must fight to survive!

Soon, Lucid starting glowing as well as the rest of the visitors... Soon, they regained their strength and we're blest by Goddess.

Kirnale: What is this?!
Lucid: This shows that the Gods are on our side!
Lilith: I feel... Stronger now...
Namiele: Same here...
Lucid: That's the power of the Gods. Now enough talk! We still have a fight to finish! Now, let's go and kill them pests! For the Goddess!!!
All: Yeah! For the Goddess!

Soon, the visitors charged out and fought the Worm Dragon and his minions. The Worm Dragon was taken by surprised to see the visitors fighting and beating his Minions.

Worm Dragon: Im.. Impossible!
Lucid: that's what happenes when you're being too overconfident!
Worm Dragon: No!!!!

Soon, Lucid attacked the Worm Dragon. With his new found strength, Lucid managed to be faster and was able to deliver stronger attack towards the enemy. Soon, the Worm Dragon fell to the ground and Lucid was about to make the final blow.

Worm Dragon: I must admit, you are good.
Lucid: Yeah, that's because we're blest by the Gods.
Worm Dragon: Very Well then... Finish me off... and Claim you prize...
Lucid: As you wish. You're a worthy opponent. I remember this moment.

Soon, with one final blow, Lucid killed the worm dragon. Soon, the traps stopped working. The visitors approached Lucid.

Namiele: Is it over?
Lucid: It is over.
Eriol: Finally. Better claim your prize now, Lucid.

Soon, Lucid went to the Altar where the Sword of the Ancients was laid. He wielded it and raised it up above his head.

Lucid: finally, the key to get rid of all evil here in the realm of Junon is in my hands...

But then, the ground started to shake, the Cave was about to collapse. Now the visitors must now rush to get out of the cavern before they themselves get caved in....

CHAPTER 62: Into the Dragon's Pit (Part 6)

As the visitors struggle hard to eliminate the little worm dragons. Lucid faces off with the great worm dragon as they both prepared to duel for their lives and for the sake of the planet.

Lucid: Hmm.... What are you waiting for?
Worm Dragon: We can't just stand here forever though.
Lucid: You're right. But I'll finish this early!

Lucid makes the first move. He quickly vanishes due to the sheer quickness of the attack. Lucid was about to make first blood, but his attack missed; the worm dragon dodges it and went behind him. the Worm Dragon blasted a fireball but Lucid was able to slice the fireball into half when he turned around.

Lucid: hmm.. I'm impressed.
Worm Dragon: Interesting.. You're quite different from the warriors I faces before.
Lucid: That's because I'm blessed by the gods!
Worm Dragon: We'll see about that.

Soon, the worm dragon spew large fireballs from it's mouth and all are targeted on Lucid. Soon, Lucid started the defense; slicing through the fireballs and running towards the dragon. Soon, smoke filled the hall and Lucid as well as the other visitors weren't able to see. Just then..

Worm Dragon: Now!

Fireballs came raining from the ceiling. The Worm Dragon and his minions are flying above; spewing the destructive flames. Soon, Lucid and the others were hit and the fireballs kept on falling. Soon, Kirnale Jumped upward and fired ice arrows at the worm dragon and his minions. Soon, bolts of ice and fire came from the ground and started hitting some of the minions.

Elysia: This is getting pointless.
Namiele: Agreed. Perhaps a tornado is fine too?
Elysia: Good idea.

Soon, Namiele and Elysia created a tornado and cleared away all the smoke. the flying dragons were swept away and became imbalanced. Many fell down to the ground, but the Worm Dragon remained.

Worm Dragon: Impressive. But It'll take more than that to beat me!
Lucid: Oh really?!

Lucid hits the Worm Dragon on it's wings and forces it back to the ground. Both Lucid and the Dragon landed hard, and were hurting badly. But Lucid stood up, and approached the fallen dragon.

Lucid: Tsk tsk.. seems you're a bit too easy... At least it's now over...
Worm Dragon: Really now? Well, eat this!

Soon, the worm dragon released his devastating firebreath upon Lucid. This forced him to push back as the Worm Dragon regains his strength.

Lucid: That was close. You're such a worthy opponent.
Worm Dragon: Hehe... The fight is just starting, warrior. I still have a lot more where those came from!
Lucid: Well, we'll see about that.
Worm Dragon: Just you wait warrior, you shall soon meet your demise!

It was another staredown. the visitors are on the side watching, as they have beated all of the minions of the worm Dragon. Neither of them knew, that there were more coming.

CHAPTER 61: Into the Dragon's Pit(Part 6)

The visitors entered the Lair of the worm Dragon. It was actually a large circular hall, with columns and torches placed on each column. in front of them was an altar and on the altar was the sword of the ancients. However, the visitors didnt approach the altar yet. They knew the worm dragon was hiding somewhere.

Lucid: This place is suspiciously... quiet...
Kirnale: Yeah.. It's as if no one is here...
Lilith: Perhaps this is a trap of sorts?
Elysia: Possibly.. Although we cant be too sure..
Lucid: Well, the only way is to taunt the creature.

Soon, Lucid went to the middle of the room, then raised his sword and was totally on guard.

Lucid: Worm Dragon! I know you are in here! Reveal yourself!

Only an Echo was heard. soon, Lucid started taunting again.

Lucid: Hey! Worm Dragon! Come out! What's the matter, cat got your tongue?!

There was silence. No one responded.

Lucid: Grrr.... He must be hiding or something...
Voice: I wouldn't be so sure...

All of a sudden, little worm dragons appeared and started attacking the visitors. Their numbers are quite large and the visitors are having a hard time beating them. Soon later, the worm dragon finally appeared and the little worm dragons retreated.

Worm Dragon: So... have you come to claim the sword of the ancients?!
Lucid: Yes. We claim it for us to save this world!
Worm Dragon: Save this world?! Bah! That's just old rubbish. Many people tried but failed. What makes you say you can do it?!
Lucid: This!

Lucid swings his magically enchanted blade and a large Icicle was created and thrown towards the Worm Dragon. The worm dragon countered, melting the ice with his breath.

Worm Dragon: Ha! That was weak! you'll have to do better than that!
Lucid: Oh really? (hits the worm dragon at the back)
Worm Dragon: A distraction! You're quite smarter than I thought. But no matter. You shall still die here! My minions, attack!
Eriol: Lucid, watch out!
Namiele: We'll try to help!
Lucid: Alright. You guys take care of the little guys. I'll deal with the Dragon one on one.
Worm Dragon: hmmm... You're quite braver than I thought. Let's see how you'll handle my fury!
Lucid: Alright, let's see whether or not you're really the guardian of the sword.

Soon, the battle began between the visitors and the worm dragon and his minions. But little do the visitors know that the Worm Dragon has a lot of surprises hidden within the lair...

CHAPTER 61: Into The Dragon's Pit(Part 5)

As Lilith, Namiele, Eriol, Elysia and Larg tried their hardest to imbue Lucid's weapon with magical properties, Lucid and the rest of the visitors are trying desparately to distract the grandmaster golem and to prevent it from hindering what Lilith and the others are doing. The golem uses his power and strength to maul off the visitors, but the speed and foresight of the visitors proved to be too much to the golem. However, 2 hours have passed and the visitors are starting to get tired...

Lucid: ... How long until you guys there finish that weapon?!
Lilith: Only a few more minutes! Give us that and you'll be able to finish it!
Kirnale: Great.. But in this state we're sure gonna lose!
Lucid: Yeah.. However we must keep on fighting at all costs!
Kirnale: Yeah.. Even if it means death?
Lucid: We faced death a few times before. And we're able to stay alive. What makes you think we'll die now?!
Kirnale: Hmmm...
Lucid: Look, we have to do this. This is for the glory of the Goddess and for the sake of saving this world. If we give up now, then what we did then is in vain. So, I'd say, We fight! Even to the death. Now, enough talk. Let's go back to the action.
Kirnale: Right... But look out!

The golem threw a large rock at Lucid's group and luckily, the dispered in time for the boulder to miss. Soon, the battle started again, but the Golem is now on the offensive. The visitors are trying as hard as they can just to hang on, but in vain. The golem was proven to be too might. Then, after pushing the visitors back to a nearby cave wall, the Golem was about to do his final assault.

Maru: This is it!
Moro: We're about to be killed!
Kirnale: Well, at least we died in service to the Goddess...
Lucid: Yeah... May Junon help us.

The Golem was about to do it's attack, when out of nowhere, Lightning bolts and Fire blasts came from behind and hit the golem, distracting the huge creature. It was actually Elysia and her group, with a new set of weapons and those weapons are shining and have strange jewels..

Elysia: Sorry if we took so long...
Lilith: We also had to do the equipment of the others...
Namiele: Yeah.. Lucid! Catch! (Throws Lucid's sword)
Lucid: Got It! Hmmm... It's shining and decorated with some rubies...
Lilith: They're magically enchanted. Try it out!

Soon, Lucid swings his sword and attacks the Golem, From out of the sword, Ice crystals and a large watersprout came out and damaged the Golem. causing him to move backward by the force of the impact.

Lucid: Cool! These weapons are quite effective too!
Lilith: We also did these to the weapons of the others.
Kirnale: Really? Alright! We can now finally defeat the golem with ease!
Lucid: Yeah... Alright then! Let's finish this!
All: Yeah!

Soon, the visitors attacked the Golem, and with the help of their new weapons, they finally managed to destroy the creature.

Kirnale: Finally, the battle's over...
Lucid: Yeah.. But look! The door is opening!
Eriol: We gotta go inside, Hurry!

Soon, the visitors picked up all the spoils of their battle, but as they entered the lair of the Worm Dragon, they will about to discover that the battle they just won is nothing more but a mere preview to the true power of the legendary Worm Dragon.

CHAPTER 60: Into the Dragon's Pit(Part 4)

The earth was rumbling and shaking as the mysterious beast approached. The vivistors don't know what to do, as the identity of this beast is still unknown. soon, Elysia fired a firebolt to the direction of the beast and they saw a huge human-like figure made of stone. It was actually a grandmaster golem.

Lucid: A golem?! Here?!
Kirnale: Of all the monsters, a large Golem... Heavily armored too...
Lilith: I doubt that this will be a easy fight...
Namiele: Agreed... No doubt this fellow is much different from the golems we fought earlier.... I doubt that the cannon we used might be effective..
Maru: Oh my so that means...
Moro: We're all doomed?!
Eriol: Hopefully not.. The Golem has a weakness somewhere...
Elysia: Yeah.. But we shall discover it later... For now, we must attack!
Lucid: Yes. We gotta scount the golem for it's main weak spot. If we can find it, then we must focus all our attacks on that spot!
Kirnale: It might take a while though, Lucid.. but It's worth a try.
Namiele: Agreed. alright then, less talk, more action. Attack!

Soon, the visitors started the assault. the Golem was slow in it's assault, but it's hard armor makes up for it. The attacks of the visitors have proven to be too weak to even mend a scratch on the Golem's rocky armor. and with one swing of his arm, the visitors were pushed back and were injured.

Maru: That hurt a lot...
Moro: Yeah.. My butt feels kinda numb...
Lucid: This stinks... This golem is a lot stronger than expected..
Kirnale: Perhaps attacking him directly wont really work...
Lucid: Yeah... How about ranged and magic attacks?
Elysia: No good. our magic is useless against this golem...
Eriol: Yes.. apparently, The rocky exterior of the Golem is quite a challenge.. not even the strongest spells can pass through that rocky shell..
Elysia: But there is still one chance... Lucid Give me your sword...
Lucid: Why?
Larg: Just do it!
Lucid: Alright.. (gives Elysia the sword)
Elysia: Namiele, Lilith, Larg, we gotta imbue this blade with magical energies...
Kirnale: Better do it fast cause the golem is coming!
Namiele: Distract it! this may take a while...
Lucid: i dont have a weapon!
Lilith: Use this! (throws Lucid a Death Bringer)
Lucid: This is a bit less powerful than my other sword but this will do.. Alright the, charge!!!
Elysia: i hope they can distract the Golem long enough for us to finish this...
Lilith: Yeah, by the looks of this, it'll really be a long while...

Soon, Lucid and the other visitors are now battling yet again, but this time to give time for Elysia and her team to create the weapon which will ultimately destroy the nearly invincible grandmaster Golem.

CHAPTER 59: Into the Dragon's Pit(Part 3)

The visitors have entered themselves into a huge dilemma - a legion of skeletons has surrounded them and they have no way of escape. They are cornered on the sealed door that leads to the Lair itself. Soon, the skeletons attacked and the battle has begun.

Lucid: They may be too many, but there is no way in hell that I would give up!
Kirnale: Yeah... But the problem is they keep on coming back!
Lucid: Then we just have to keep on fighting!
Lilith: But still, their numbers are endless! And Kirnale is right!
Namiele: We have no other option. we have to fight. Even if it means our lives!

Soon, Namiele casted a strong elemental spike, but, although it destroyed some of the skeletons along it's path, was thrown off course and it hit a crystal that was connected to one of the nearby columns. Soon, the skeletons are moving towards the visitors but as the visitors are about to do their last stand, the skeletons are starting to act strangely...

Eriol: What's going on?!
Lilith: I dunno, but when Namiele's elemental spik hit that crystal... Those skeletons are affected.
Elysia: Of course! These skeletons keep on coming back because they're controlled by those crystals!
Lilith: You mean to say, they're just puppets?
Elysia: Exactly. The Worm dragon must've made this so that few people can actually attack the lair...
Lucid: hmm... Interesting.. But with these waves of skeletons, how could we ba able to approach those crystals?!
Kirnale: I have a plan... Maru, you and Moro be the distraction. All you guys need to do is to keep them skeletons away while the rest of us are getting rid of these crystals..
Maru: Aw...
Moro: Hey, we might not be able to beat them!
Kirnale: You don't need to beat them.. all you need to do is to just distract them long enough while we work them Crystals!
Maru: Alright.. We'll do it.
Kirnale: Good. I saw 6 Columns excluding the ones at the door. Each one of us will have to destroy those Crystals so that we can disable those skeletons. Then, we'll all go back to the door and destroy those 2 large Crystals on those columns...
Lucid: Good Plan. hopefully with this, we'll be able to destroy them skeletons once and for all.
Lilith: Hopefully speaking of course...
Namiele: Yeah.. I just hope this really works...
Lucid: It will.. Everyone, Charge!!!!

Soon, Maru and Moro started to distract the enemy skeletons while the other are trying their best to destroy those columns... At first, it was hard, since the crystals themselves are tough and is hard to break. But one by one, the crystals shattered and the skeletons are slowly being weakened. finally, the last crystal was shattered and the skeleton army was merely immobile. Then the visitors returned to the door.

Lucid: That's exhausting...
Namiele: Took a lot out of me..
Maru and Moro: Ohh.. we're both dizzy....
Elysia: Well, at least there are only 2 big crystals left...

Then suddenly the earth started to rumble. The ground was shaking. A Large beast was about to appear.

Lucid: this is not good...
Kirnale: What is it this time?!
Elysia: I hope that's not what I think it is...

Soon, everyone prepared to fight as the mysterious beast approaches...

Chapter 58: Into the Dragon's Pit (Part 2)

Lucid and his party is now in a dire situation: dozens and dozens of skeletons and skeletal archers surround them. Firing arrows and charging towards the party. The visitors tried their best to destroy the undead entities, but everytime they do, they keep on coming back. Soon, their numbers are overwhelming and almost all hope is lost.

Lucid: This is not good..
Kirnale: Great, We're trapped...
Lilith: Oh boy.. we're surrounded...
Maru and Moro: We're dommed! Doomed!!!
Eriol: Calm down, both of you!
Elysia: Yeah.. There is still a way! Namiele, you and I cast some powerful spells. we need to clear a path for us to escape... Eriol, you buff us. we need all the buffs we can get.
Eriol: On it.
Namiele: Sure, but will this really work?
Elysia: Well, let's find out, shall we?

Soon, Elysia and Namiele casted powerful spells and paved a clear path that leads deeper into the lair.

Elysia: Now! Hurry! Them skeletons wont stay down for long!
Lucid: Right. Let's go!!!

Soon, they rushed through the path, Elysia and Namiele head on ahead to destroy the skeletons blocking their way. When the got through the skeletons are chasing them, as the fallen skeletons have arisen yet again. Soon, they came across two large obelisks and a large door.

Kirnale: This must be the entrance to the lair...
Lucid: Alright, let's try pushing the door...

Soon, everyone tried pushing the door. but in vain, the door was too heavy.

Maru: It's stuck!
Moro: No! It's too heavy!
Eriol: Moro does have a point... This door is too big, and it's made of stone... We can't just open it by ourselves...
Namiele: you're right.. We need to think of a way to open this...
Kirnale: Well, better think fast... for the skeletons are coming!

Soon from all directions skeletons and skeletal archers have arrived to eliminate the visitors. Soon, they surrounded the visitors in a seemingly unescapable trap. The visitors have realized what they gotten themselves into...

Lilith: Not again...
Lucid: Hmm... Why wont they stop spawning...
Elysia: I just dont get it.. Where do these undead get their ability to revive themselves?!
Namiele: Yeah... How they do it?!
Kirnale: No matter, we have no other choice... But to fight!
Lucid: Right. We got no other option! We must fight!

Soon, the skeletons attacked, but the visitors defended. The fighting started. But little did they know that the source of the ability of living dead was just close by...

Chapter 57: Into the Dragon's Pit (Part 1)

Finally, after days of wandering, the visitors have finally arrived in the Worm Dragon's Den. However, when they got there they saw a horrid sight. Ouside the cave were numerous skeletons and burnt-out trees. Shields and swords were scattered everywhere. The visitors now realize the danger they will encounter once they face the worm dragon.

Lucid: What happened here...
Maru: So horrbile..
Moro: Gruesome indeed...
Namiele: What.. What is going on here?!
Lilith: Not good...
Eriol: It seems it's the worm Dragon who had done this...
Kirnale: And it seems that we might be having a tough time facing him...
Elysia: Depends.. the worm dragon is naturally strong..
Larg: This misut be the proof...
Lucid: And yet we're so close to the dragon's den...
Kirnale: There's no time to lose! We gotta go inside and get that sword!
Namiele: Kirnale's right. The sword must be inside the cave...
Lilith: And what happens if we need to fight the dragon?
Lucid: Then so be it. Dragon or no dragon, we must retrieve the sword! Let's go!

Thus, they entered and begun exploring the cave that housed the Worm Dragon. As they go deeper and deeper below the surface they noticed the rock formations and the different markings on the wall...

Lucid: hmm.. these rock formations are quite remarkable...
Lilith: Yes... it seems it's formed over a long period of time...
Kirnale: Well yes.. but still, look at these marks...
Lucid: Strange.. They're blood marks...
Elysia: More closely.. They're runes...
Eriol: Yes... These runes must've been written by the first explorers who tried to take the sword...
Namiele: These runes might lead us to the sword!
Lucid: yes.. Let's follow the runes!

Soon, they did follow the runes but as they pass through the cave walls... They noticed more and more skeletons along the way.

Lucid: Hmmm... Seems that there are many more who wish to take the sword...
Lilith: Lets's just move on.. This place is giving me the creeps...

They did move forward, but Maru and Moro are full of curiosity, that they approached one of the skeletons..

Moro: Wow.. these are real skeletons...
Maru: Hmm.. I wonder how are they killed *pokes skull*
Moro: Hey! don't poke those things! Remember last time?
Maru: Oh dont worry! They're probably dead...
Moro: good point. *pokes skull*
Maru: See? they're dead!
Moro: I guess you're right!
Maru: Yeah! Oh no we're being left behind!
Moro: Let's go back and catch up with the rest!

They went back to the party, not knowing that the skull they poked is starting to reassemble itself and the other skeletons as well... Soon, they came at last at the gate leading to the Worm Dragon.. However they heard a loud noise.

Lucid: *bangs* what was that?!
Kirnale: I dunno but, I dont like the looks of things...

All of a sudden, arrows started flying from noweher, targeting the visitors. And soon, they saw an army of skeletons...

Elysia: Oh boy... Undead...
Maru: Oh my...
Moro: Told you don't poke the skulls...
Lilith: Not good...
Kirnale: Looks like we gotta face some more creepy stuff. Charge!

Soon, the visitors charged through and started attacking the skeleton army. But as they are about tof ind out, beating them will require more than just sheer might....

Chapter 56: The Sword of the Ancients (Part 4)

As soon as the dust settled, 3 figures appeared. One of them carrying a strangely huge cylinder with a hole on top. The came through the dust and the visitors are surprised.

Lilith: Missed us?
Maru: That was some strong explosion!
Moro: Lilith is so the best!
Lucid: Lilith, is that really you?!
Lilith: Of course! Told you guys we could find a way out of this...
Kirnale: great! But of course they tend to revive after a few seconds...
Lilith: Dont worry. Those fragmented bombs are placed with a special kind of pixie dust that is strong enough to dispel any magical effect. Thank goodness for Sugar of course...
Namiele: That's just great!
Elysia: But are you sure that thing can stop those golems?
Lilith: Of course it will! Watch! Hey! (points cannon at golems) Want some of this?!

Soon, the golems approached Liltih but when they got close enough, she fired the cannon and when the bomb exploded, they are instantly gone.

Eriol: Wow... that's unbelievable..
Namiele: Yeah...
Larg: Puu... That's some weapon you got there, Ms. Lilith!
Lilith: Yep.. I call this baby, the cannon! Now enough talk! Let's kick butt!

Soon, the battle started again, this time with the help of Lilith's Cannon. Soon, many of the golems are destroyed and the place was literally littered with rocks and debris from the fallen golems.

Lilith: Well, that was easy...
Lucid: If it wasnt for that weapon of yours... We could've been dead by now..
Lilith: Ah that was nothing...
Elysia: Actually, that weapon is quite powerful.. Perhaps we should use it sometime...
Lilith: Why not? Anyway we gotta get moving...
Kirnale: Yeah.. We should go and find the Sword of the Ancients.
Eriol: Yeah.. There is little time to waste!
Lucid: Yes. We must move now! Let's go!
All: Yeah!

Soon, they started to journey through the Gorge of Silence to find the Worm Dragon's Lair and retrieve the Sword of the Ancients. Meanwhile back at the Planet Hebarn, anger fills the air as Hebarn's minions are utterly defeated yet again...

Hebarn: What's the meaning of this?!
Hector: Milady, that's just an appetizer... The main course will come soon..
Medusa: Yes.. and the preparations are almost complete..
Hector: Almost? What do you mean?!
Medusa: Just a few more minutes and... Finally! It's finished!
Hebarn: What is it?!
Medusa: See for yourself, my queen...

Hebarn saw the creature and it was not only large, but quite strong as well...

Hebarn: Impressive. How did you made it?
Medusa: I combined all of the strata of the Devil Pest and by means of genetic tailoring, I was able to combine the Golem, the Yeti and some of the Sikuku Tribesmen from Eldeon. The result is this creature.
Hector: And I assure you my Queen. We shall get the victory that we need using this creature.
Hebarn: I hope so, for you shall be dearly punished if it doesnt! But for now.. We should prepare ourselves. Release the creature later. For now, let's see what happens next.

Soon an evil laugh was heard across the dark planet as Hebarn's minions could've created the only thing that might destroy the visitors and put and end to Arua's fight, once and for all.

Chapter 55: The Sword of the Ancients (Part 3)

The visitors are about to face a very serious threat: Golems. A large horde of Golems is about to come to the visitors and the visitors are now preparing for a fight. However, they would not expect that those golems are stronger and tougher foes...

Lucid: Hmmm.. Stone Golems, eh?
Namiele: Maybe magic can hurt them?
Kirnale: It'll be hard even for magic to kill them..
Lilith: Yes... Even my bullets can't piece through those hard rocks...
Lucid: Well, look's like we gotta find another way to get through this...
Eriol: Yeah.. I doubt my summons can even destroy a few of those things..
Maru: Same with my weapons...
Moro: Me too...
Namiele: Well, we got to think of a way to eliminate this...
Lilith: Hmmm... Perhaps making a new weapon strong enough to burst those golems will be enough...
Elysia: Well, better start now, for here come's the horde!
Larg: Look's like we got ourselves a big fight in our hands!

A few minutes later, the Golem Army was seen just a few hundred meters away from the visitors. Then they suddenly stopped. When Lucid and the other visitors have stepped up, Kirnale suddenly approached Lucid.

Kirnale: Lucid, are you sure about what Lilith is planning?
Lucid: Yes. I do believe her plan might just do it...
Namiele: Until she finishes her weapon, we gotta fight our way through this.
Elysia: Yes. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start!
Larg: I can't wait to fight!
All: Yeah!

Soon, the visitors ran forward and the Golems started the assault. They are throwing Large stones at the visitors while some attack the visitors through hand to hand combat. At first the visitors are successful... But then...

Lucid: These things are easier than we thought!
Kirnale: Yeah! We can finish them, in no time!
Elysia: Yeah.. A bit too easy... (earth rumbles) Wait.. What's happening?!
Larg: Look, the rocks are moving and are gathering together!
Namiele: What in the Goddess' name...
Eriol: Oh no...
Lucid: Oh my... (sees golems whole again) This is not Good....
Elysia: Well, I dont sense any magic anywhere...
Eriol: The dark minions must've cloaked the magic so that we can't pinpoint the weakness!
Larg: That's not good...
Lucid: Still, we gotta keep on fighting! We musn't let them get to Lilith!
Elysia: Yes. We gotta do better than this!
Larg: Puu! Let's go and kick more butt!
All: Yeah!

Soon, they fought harder, but everytime the destroy a golem, it keeps on coming back... Soon, the visitors are getting tired and then more golems are coming in.. It seems that all hope is about to be lost....

Lucid: Oh boy... Not this again..
Kirnale: I know we can get out of this...
Namiele: I just hope Lilith can finish this on time...
Elysia: She should. We're getting swamped here...
Eriol: And we're running out of Energy...
Lucid: I just hope Lilith is right about all this...

Just when the Golems are about to do their last move, out of the blue a large explosion was heard. And chunks of burning rock are seen flying in the sky. A Huge dust cloud covered the area, when the dust settled, they saw the solution that they just need.

Chapter 54: The Sword of the Ancients(Part 2)

At last, the visitors have finally arrived at the Gorge of Silence, and just as the name states, There are only a few creatures that lived in this desolate desert, thus it's name. The Visitors visited a nearby settlement, but only to find there are no people living in the supposedly deserted town...

Lucid: Wow.. the place does live up to it's name...
Kirnale: Yeah.. Literally there's no one here...
Lilith: The town is virtually empty...
Lucid: Still we gotta be cautious.. who know what kind of traps the Minions of Hebarn have for us...
Eriol: Well, I sense little or even no magical enerygy around here..
Namiele: Same here... No magic in any part of this deserted place...
Elysia: Yep. Still, there might some lurking around that we cant sense...
Larg: But still, even if they are cloaked, we can still detect them, right?
Elysia: Yes.. But we cant be too certain...
Lucid: Yes.. I'd say we've gotta watch our backs...

As the visitors explored the town, Maru and Moro went out and stumbled upon some old rocks...

Maru: Wow, look at these rocks!
Moro: They look so strange...
Maru: Yeah.. and so old...
Moro: Let's poke them!
Maru: Good Idea! *pokes rock*
Moro: Not like that! Like this! *pokes harder*
Maru: you're doing it all wrong! Like this! *pokes even harder*

As they poked on the rock, the earth started to tremble and the rock started to move... Maru and Moro are surprised by the trembling and moved away from the rock. Suddenly, the rock grew taller until it became a human-like statue.

Maru: Wha.. What the heck is that?!
Moro: I don't know. But Perhaps we should move away slowly.. It could be alive...
Maru: Yeah... Let's just walk along really slowly and carefully...

However, the statue moved and threw a large boudler at them. It missed but it made other rocks to sprout out and become Golems.

Maru: Oh no.. what did we do wrong?!
Moro: Let's get outta here!!!!

Maru and Moro ran away as fast as they can, but the Golem followed them.. Soon they reached the town and the visitors are just outside talking..

Elysia: The place is really deserted.. Nothing much we can do anyway...
Lilith: Yeah.... Let's just proceed to the Worm dragon and-
Maru and Moro: Help! Help! Giant stone creatures atatcking us! They're following us even as we speak!
Lucid: Are they tall and made of stone?
Maru: Yes! We accidentaly ran into one of them!
Namiele: oh boy.. Guess the defenders of the Gorge have awakened...
Eriol: Well, we should get ready for here they come!

Soon, the large horde of Golems have arrived and the visitors will now face a threat that they themselves might find it hard to beat....

Chapter 53: The sword of the Ancients (Part 1)

Soon, the visitors are now preparing for the final part of their journey to the Gorge of Silence... But just as things started to settle down, there are quite a few things the Visitors need to settle...

Lucid: Is everything there?
Lilith: Yep. everything is all set..
Kirnale: Wait, where's Maru and Moro?
Eriol: Those two always seem to get into trouble..
Namiele: Simple because they're too troublesome...
Elysia: Nah.. Don't worry about them... They're just too child-like that's all...
Sugar: They're hyperactive at the same time childish.. They're too much to control!

suddenly, Maru and Moro rushed into the visitors as if they saw a ghost.

Maru: Help! Help!
Moro: Large crocodile like creatures!!!!
Maru: Trying to attack us!
Lucid: Oh boy.. Where did you saw those things?
Moro: Near the waterfall!
Arkus: Crocodile like creatures? Kaimans.
Lilith: What are those Kaimans?
Arkus: Large walking crocodiles wielding weapons that guard the path towards the Gorge of Silence... Lately we cant go to the town located on teh Gorge simply because of those pestering Kaimans...
Kirnale: We cant help it if those crocodiles are blocking our way.. We'll just have to plunge right through them..
Eriol: Well yes.. We could wipe them out with magic if necessary...
Namiele: But the numbers.. Maybe we cant handle them...
Elysia: Well, it all depends on what those Kaimans can offer to us...
Arkus: In any case, please be careful... We wish you the best of luck.
Lucid: Same here.. We should get going now. Farewell.
Lilith: Hope we could pass by again!
Maru and Moro: Bye!!!

Soon, they reached the waterfall and as expected a large group of Kaimans is blocking the way.

Kaiman Guard: Sorry, you cant pass here!
Lucid: How could we pass then?
Kaiman Warrior: Pay us 10000 zulie!
Lilith: That's too much! We cant afford it
Kirnale: Yeah! you're too unfair!
Kaiman Guard: Too bad! No one can cross unless they have the gold!
Elysia: In any case... (Casts Lightning Bolt)

The bolt of lightning struck the Kaiman Guard and temporarily stunned him. This caught the attention of other kaimans in the area.

Kaiman Ranger: Look! One of our men has fallen!
Kaiman Warrior: Help! These vagabonds are trying to invade our realm!
Kaiman: You'll never get past here alive! Attack!
Elysia: We'll see about that. Larg! Attack!
Larg: Puu!!!
Lucid: Alright, let's push through this! Charge!
All: Charge!!!

The battle began. Hundreds of Kaimans are trying to push back the visitors but in vain. Soon, they found themselves in a very bad situation, and it looks as if the visitors are unstoppable. When the battle was over, it was a horrific sight.

Lucid: Is this what we must do just to save this realm?
Kirnale: It is the only way..
Lilith: The dark goddess is not fond of words.
Elysia: However, it is the only that we can think of. diplomacy will not work, nor would persuasion. The only way the Gods know this to end is through us. And we must stop this evil from destroying this beautiful universe.
Lucid: She's right. Everyone, let's move on out into the Gorge of Silence!
All: yeah!

Soon, they set off again, now at last, they have finally made it into the Gorge of Silence. The legendary Sword of the Ancients await...

Chapter 52: Attack of the Krawfies (Part 2)

The Krawfy army surrounded the visitors and Elysia and her companions are trapped... they are unarmed and unprepared for this surprise attack...

Kirnale: This is definitely not Good...
Larg: Yeah.. I myself cant eat those large lobsters!
Maru: Oh no...
Moro: We're doomed!!!
Sugar: If only Arua we're here..
Elysia: Just hang on! I'll try to get you guys out of this!

Elysia soon used her magic to kill some of the krawfies... Soon, they are able to make an opening through the nearly impenetrable krawfy wall.

Kirnale: Amazing... you have some strong magic there...
Elysia: Don't waste your time in awe! Now's our chance! Go!

They got through and escaped unharmed... They are able to reach to their equipments and started arming themselves... Soon, they came back to the beach, and started their counter offensive.

Kirnale: finally, weapons! Let's fight back!
Maru: Can't wait to fight!
Moro: Yeah! Let's get some revenge!
Elysia: Well, I had my share.. but what the hey... Let's go and get some payback.
All: Yeah!

Soon, everyone went back to the beach and started fighting the krawfies.. But the Krawfies kept on coming, soon, they are overwhelmed by the massive number and they are getting tired because of the constant fighting...

Kirnale: Oh boy... Look's like this is the end again!
Larg: Oh no... We're doomed..
Maru: Waaah... This is not good!
Moro: We're gonna die!
Sugar: Arua protect us!
Elysia: Don't be so sure... Look.

Elysia points to the east, adn they saw lightning bolts and giant swords destroying the Krawfies... Explosions and sounds of metal hitting krawfy carapace filled the air. Soon, an huge explosion occured and out of the dust appeared familiar faces. It was Lucid and his party.

Kirnale: Lucid, Lilith!
Maru and Moro: Eriol, Namiele, welcome back! Thank goodness you arrived!
Elysia: Welcome back guys. Just in time for the party.
Lucid: Yeah.. Seems there's a lot more coming...
Lilith: Plenty for everyone. This is gonna be a feast!
Eriol: Wanna cook some fried lobster?

Soon, the visitors overcame the odds and by nightfall, the Krawfies retreated... Soon, they gatehred up the Cooked Krawfy Corpses and brought them back to the town.. There, they had a great feast.

Arkus: How can we ever repay you, visitors? You have saved the town from a Krawfy invasion!
Lucid: No prob... But make sure you have better weapons next time..
Lilith: Yeah.. Better equipment and proper training is essential in the defense of the town after all...
Arkus: Yeah.. Perhaps we should do it...
Maru: Hey! that's my lobster!
Moro: No! It's mine!
Maru: Mine!
Moro: Mine!
Elysia: Calm down you two... Let's just share the lobster-
Maru and Moro: NO! IT'S MINE!

Chapter 51: Attack of the Krawfies (Part 1)

As Lucid and his team are investigating the henge near Kenji beach, Elysia, as well as Maru, Moro, Sugar and Kirnale are enjoying the scenery of the beach...

Kirnale: you know what, this beach is really serene...
Elysia: Yes.. Too tranquil i should say...
Kirnale: Maybe.. But the monsters are not really that much spread out...
Elysia: They ight be on the other side of the town...
Kirnale: Yes... I just hope Lucid and the others are alright..
Elysia: I'm sure they'll be fine... Wait.. Where did Maru, Moro and Sugar went out to?
Kirnale: Them? They just went to the sea. Hopefully they'll come back later...
Elysia: I hope so... The sea has many hidden dangers after all...

Meanwhile, as Kirnale and Elysia enjoyed the scenery of the beach.. Maru, Moro and Sugar went on further to dive down to see the hidden treasures of the sea... They saw a wide variety of corals, fish and other living creatures... Although Maru and Moro cant speak underwater, Sugar casted a spell that allowed them to breathe underwater and to communicate through their minds until they return to the surface.

Maru: Wow... This is beautiful...
Moro: Yes... I didnt know the planet has many hidden treasures...
Sugar: Why yes... Of course... The Planet is home to many beautiful creatures... Many of them live underwater, and since the nomads do not have the skill yet, you guys are the first ones who saw them!
Maru: Really! That's cool!
Moro: Yeah! Let's lay with the fishes!
Maru: Good Idea!

Soon, they dive down deeper and saw many beautiful fish. They both swim with those fish. Soon, they realize it was already the middle of the afternoon and the have to return to the beach...

Sugar: It's getting later.. We should go back now...
Maru: Awww... Alright then..
Moro: Well... Let's go back home..
Maru: I cant wait for dinner!
Moro: Me too! I wnat fried shrimp!

They swam back to the surface.. But as they are rising, they are being followed by a mysterious group of sea creatures...

Maru: Oh my.. we're being followed!
Moro: We gotta swim faster!
Sugar: We're approaching the surface! We gotta hurry!

they reached the surface and ran towards Elysia, Larg and Kirnale, frightened...

Maru: Help! Help!
Moro: there are large creaures following us!

soon, the cretaures suddenly appearch and they are none other than wild krawfies... The visitors dont have their weapons and are caught unguarded by a horde of tose monsters...

Maru: What should we do?!
Moro: We dont have our weapons!
Larg: I'm still full...
Kirnale: Guess we gotta fight melee...
Elysia: Yeah.. Good thing I can cast even without staves...
Kirnale: Really?
Elysia: Yep. But enough talk! Let's start the fight!

Thus, the attack of the krawfies has begun.

Chapter 50: Notes from the Ancients (Part 3)

As they translate the text, they are quite amazed by what the ancient inhabitants have written...

Lucid: Intriguing... Seems that the ancients have knowledge as well...
Lilith: I agree... And the text is authentic...
Eriol: Yes... But still no signs of magical energy...
Namiele: Yeah.. But, Hey look! The henge is glowing!
Eriol: I'm sensing a Strong magical energy surging throughout the henge!
Namiele: So powerful! It's nearly as powerful of that of the Tree of Wisdom!
Lilith: What's going on?!

Soon, the Henge started to glow and the runes are starting to shimmer in light... Then, they heard a loud voice...

Voice: Greetings fair visitors from another world... I am kaliph, the spirit of the henge... I am one of the ancient peoples who lived in this planet...
Lucid: Tell us... What is it like to live in this planet?
Kaliph: You see, you are aware of the history of this planet, right?
Lilith: Yes... the gods, demigods and fairies told us the whole history of it...
Kaliph: there's more... They havent told you of our hostory yet... You see, the natives you see now are the descendants of our clan... The first inhabitants... We have lived in this realm for many years.. However as time passed out generation was starting to die out, like the rest of the living things here.. so we decided to carve our knowledge into this henge as a tribute to our generation...
Lucid: but is this the cause of the aggressiveness of the monsters?
Kaliph: No.. It was recent... a strange, dark magical power approached the henge, stole some it's power and apparently used it to make the Monsters here more aggressive than ever...
Lilith: At this rate, the Villagers will starve..
Kaliph: Our time is up.... i know might not be able to talk again but.. Know this... The person who corrupted the monsters is in the gorge of silence...
Lucid: That's where we are going! but please, do tell us more-
Kaliph: We cant.. For we must leave now...
Lilith: No, wait!

Soon, the Henge stopped glowing and it returned to it's original state..

Eriol: Too late...
Namiele: Uh oh... the monsters are heading this way!
Lilith: Seems they want some of the action then...
Lucid: Action they want, action they get! Attack!

A few minutes later, the monsers retreated back into the sea... The visitors are exhausted from the battle...

Lucid: That sure was tiring...
Lilith: Oh my.. I wonder what happened to Maru, Moro and the others?!
Eriol: That's not good...
Namiele: We should go back!

Now, the visitors rushed back to the beach near the town where the other visitors are relaxing, fearing that something bad happened to them...

Chapter 49: Notes from the Ancients (Part 2)

Soon, the visitors have finally approached the Henge, and it was a strange sight... the visitors are quite amazed by the way the henge was built..

Lucid: Fascinating...
Lilith: By the way it was built, I'd say this henge is pretty much remarkable..
Eriol: Yes.. but i sense no magical energy coming from the henge..
Namiele: Me neither...
Lucid: Let's explore the surrounding area including the henge itself..
Lilith Good Idea, let's split up and search for some clues...

Soon, the party split up and searched the surrounding area for any traces of dark energy... When they returned in front of the henge the assessed what they have...

Lucid: Well, anything?
Lilith: None here...
Eriol: Nothing here...
Namiele: Same here... Wait.. What is written on the statue in the middle of the Henge?
Eriol: Yes.. I kinda noticed that as well.. Let's see the writing...

They approached the henge with a great sense of curiosity. They started to inspect the carved writing on the statue...

Lucid: Hmm.. It's written in some sort of ancient language...
Lilith: Yes... and it seems to be a bit old..
Eriol: too old.. This thing was written a thousand years ago!
Namiele: I cant translate it... The words are too scribbled...
Lucid: We need to find some way to translate it...
Voice: I can help you with that...

soon, a portal appeared, and a woman came out of it.. It was actually Yuuko.

Yuuko: Miss me?
Lucid: Well, not really... But..
Yuuko: You need help in translating?
Lilith: Yeah.. We cant decipher those writings...
Yuuko: I see... Her, take this.. It's a translator.. Scan the writing using this and it will show you the direct translation of it.
Eriol: That's really Cool...
Yuuko: Yes, but it'll cost you..
Namiele: What is our payment?
Yuuko: A piece of the power of the tree of wisdom..
Eriol: wait, we cant just-
Namiele: Alright. We'll give it to you.
Yuuko: Thank you. Here you go... Now I must leave.
Lilith: Where to?

Soon, Yuuko entered the portal and this time, Eriol and Namiele are shimmering with light... As the portal closed, their light faded, and they feel a bit weak...

Chapter 48: Notes from the ancients (Part 1)

Soon, the visitors started to move again.. They soon left the forest and headed straight into Kenji beach, one of the most scenic beaches in the realm of Junon. As soon as they entered the beach,they are amazed by the scenic beauty of it's white sand shores and it's crystal clear waters.

Lucid: Wow, this must be a very beautiful beach...
Lilith: So vibrant...
Elysia: Tranquil yet eloquent indeed...
Kirnale: It's a great place to rest for a while...
Eriol: Yeah.. a Really enjoyable place...
Maru and Moro: Wow! A beach! Let's go swimming!!!
Namiele: Hold on! there's a town nearby! Perhaps we should resupply there...
Sugar: Awww... but the others want to relax...
Lucid: O.. here's the thing.. Me, Lilith, Eriol and Namiele will just head into town.. The rest, you can do whatever you guys want... Just make sure you go to town by tonight...
Elysia: Alright then... just have fun then...

So, Lucid and his party left the beach for the nearby town of Kenji. A few moments later...

Kirnale: Ok then guys! Let's go enjoy the sun!

Elysia: Nah.. I'll just give myself a tan then watch you guys.

Moro: Ok then... (throws bucket of water to elysia)
Elysia: Hey! Watch the hair! That's it... prepare to be wet! (starts manipulating water)
Maru and Moro: uh-oh... Run away!!!!

Soon, they are having fun in the beach, laughing, singing, playing... They're doing everything in the beach just to have fun... Meanwhile, Lucid and his team have finally reached the town, And they were greeted by the mayor, Arkus.

Arkus: Welcome to our town! By the way you are dressed, you must be the visitors from another realm... Am I right?
Lucid: Yes.. we are here to get some supplies...
Arkus: Sure, get as much as you want.. I'll tell the merchants to sell you some items for low costs...
Lilith: Thank you for your generosity...
Arkus: But actually, we've been waiting for you for so long now...
Lucid: Why? What's wrong?

Lucid: We cant be sure.... Don't worry mayor... We'll try to investigate that area...
Arkus: Thank you... I hope you'll find the cause of this problem.. With a krawfies being aggressive and all, we might die from starvation!
Eriol: We wont allow that to happen.
Namiele: Yes... We shall do our best in this. And we shall solve this problem with ease...
Arkus: Thank you.. Now it's best that you leave immediately... time is not on our sie after all...
Lucid: I agree... Alright guys, let's go!
All: Right!

Soon, they left the town, and are now heading for the henge, that has strange markings carved all over it...

Chapter 47: Observers and Destabilizers

Meanwhile, on paradise, Junon has just returned from the Forest of wisdom. Arua, Phage, Lilith and Ska approached the tired God.

Arua: My love, we saw everything in the screen.. It was amazing...
Phage: Yes.. You fought so valiantly.. I've never seen that much action in a while...
Lilith(Demigod): Yeah... We've never seen a battle so well fought before...
Junon: Really tiring though.. I really need some rest...
Arua: You'll get all the rest you'll need, my love...

Soon, Junon returned to his palace and rested... Meanwhile, the other Gods are at the great hall, watching the movements of the visitors...

Orlo: Hmmm.. that last battle was really a close call..
Eldeon: If it wasnt for the great sacrifice of the tree of wisdom...
Altana: All could've been lost... And all our efforts will be in vain...
Salt: Yeah... But the tree of wisdom.. Will it remain in it's slumber for all eternity?
Orlo: Nah.. It'll only last for 1000 years.. Afterwards it can return to it's former state...
Eldeon: But still, it was a close call... The visitors could've been killed there...
Orlo: Nah, they have to experience things like that in order to survive after all...
Salt: Yeah... Unless you wish them to be totally weak, they must have to fight more harder battles...
Eldeon: Yeah.. But they do get tired easily...
Orlo: Yeah.. But still they managed to get out of a sticky situation before... Yeah...
Altana: Well, me thinks it's enough for now...
Eldeon: Yeah.. Me thinks we should let these visitors fend for themselves for a while...
Orlo: Agreed. Let's rest for a while, shall we?
All: Yes.

All the gods and demigods went to rest.. Meanwhile at the planet hebarn, Hector and Medusa are now arguing about what to do....

Hector: What are we going to do?! The Goddess is furious about what happened out there!
Medusa: Hey, better stop that! It'll lead us nowhere!
Hector: Yeah right! As in these visitors are now ruining our plans!
Medusa: Well perhaps, but still, we got to find ways to fight them...
Hector: We cant afford to lose more men...
Medusa: Then perhaps a stronger, larger, more powerful foe could be enough....
Hector: You mean a super monster? That might work...
Medusa: It will, all I need are the right materials and a good amount of souls.
Hector: hmmm... I hope what you're planning is good... The goddess will be pleased if
this creature is successful in destroying the visitors...
Medusa: Yes.. but for the time being, let our weaker creeps tired them before we give them the main course...

Soon, the duo laughed like animals as they prepare to make the toughest creature the visitors will face later on...

Chapter 46: Battle in the Forest (Part 2)

When all hope is lost, the tree of wisdom suddenly shined, and Elysia, as well as Namiele and Eriol started shining as well, and started casting spells as if they were possessed... Soon in the midst of the chaos that folowed, the visitors are quite confused...

Lucid: Could someone tell me what's going on?
Junon: Apparently, the tree is controlling the trio, thus their "shining" and me thinks they willingly gave into the power of the tree, thus making their magic stronger...
Lilith: As if they really are possessed..
Kirnale: It seems the tree really sides with us...
Larg: Puu! Look, the tree's eyes... They're opening...

Soon, the eyes of the tree opened wide, and soom pillars of light started to shine down on the dark army... Destroying everything within it... Soon, the visitors as well as the god Junon, started to fight back...

Maru: Hey, now's our chance!
Moro: Yeah sis... We should take this opportunity!
Lilith: I agree... We should let this pass without some more action!
Kirnale: Same here!
Lucid: Me too!
Junon: Good, let's shpw them what we're made of...

Soon, the battle continued.. as meteors, firegons, elementals, arrows, lightning bolts and pillars of light dominated the scene... As soon as the dust was cleared, it was a terrific sight... Thousand of dark army soldiers are dead; each body lying lifeless on the ground filled with blood... Soon, the visitors caught the dark commander.

Junon: Heretic! You shall be punished!
Dark Commander: Not Quite! For sooner or later you shall all feel the wrath of-
Junon: Hebarn shall always fail! Die!

And with one strike of a lightning bolt, Junon Killed the Dark commander, thus effectively ending the battle, but as the visitors returned near the tree of wisdom, the noticed Elysia, Namiele and Eriol returned to their original form...

Namiele: err.. What happened?
Eriol: I feel as though I was possessed...
Elysia: Yeah.. Must be the tree of wisdom giving it's energy to us...
Junon: Yes.. It seems the tree wishes you to become better magicians than before...
Lilith: Yeah... and it seems you did well...
Larg: Yeah.. What you did was amazing!
Elysia: Well, yeah... But yggdrasil also gave us the wisdom of the planet as well... We now know the secret of this realm however-
Sugar: Come quick! The tree is getting weaker!
Junon: Say what?!

Soon, they noticed the tree is starting to wiggle a lot... they sensed that it is in deep pain...

Junon: What's wrong, yggdrasil?
Yggdrasil: I must've used too much power... I must recharge....
Lucid: But how?
Yggdrasil: I must sleep for a thousand years, after which I shall reawaken and aid you yet again...
Namiele: What about us?
Yggdrasil: Don't worry... You 3 have my wisdom, the wisdom of the planet. Go forth and share it to the nomads and the new visitors who will arrived soon...
Eriol: But-
Yggdrasil: Listen.. You are more important than I.. You must go and make haste... Time is not by your side... Farewell...

Then, Yggdrasil closed it's eyes, and started it's thousand year sleep. Junon then approached the visitors...

Junon: I must leave as well.. You already know where the sword of the ancients lie right?
Lucid: Yes... However,are you sure we can handle this by ourselves?
Junon: Yes.. I have faith in all of you. Do your part...
Sugar: What about me?
Junon: Don't worry little fairy... I will reward you once you return the paradise after you helped the visitors...
Sugar: Alright then...
Junon: alright, I must leave as well... See you later then...
Lilith: Farewell.
Maru and Moro: Byebye!
Kirnale: Cya...
Eriol: Farewell, milord.
Elysia: See ya around then...
Lucid: Alright then! Let's prepare ourselves! We've got a long journey ahead!
All: Right!

And so, the visitors prepared themselves and left the forest of wisdom, to retrieve the legendary sword of the ancients.

Chapter 45: Battle in the forest (Part 1)

As the visitors prepared themselves, the commander of the dark forces has assembled his army yet again to prepare themselves for the great battle ahead...

Dark Commander: We got word from our scouts that the visitors are indeed near the tree of wisdom...
Dark Knight: Sir, isn't the forest of wisdom dangerous place? As in, the trees magical energies might be strong enough to wipe out all of us!
Dark Commander: Not necessarily... We are of dark nature... And the Devil pest has also infect parts of the area... I know the power of the Tree is getting weaker by the second..
Dark Knight: But what about the God Junon?
Dark Commander: don't worry too much, fool! That God's powers should be weak as well! We should be able to beat him! Anyway... All of you, we must prepare ourselves! this is no laughing matter! the visitors must die! Now let's go to the forest and kill them in the name of the Dark Goddess!
All: Right!

Soon, the dark army entered the forest of wisdom.. the tree had already knew thewir plot and has already warned the visitors... Soon, the visitors are finally ready and are standing guard at the base of the great tree...

Lucid: Are you sure you wish to fight, milord?
Junon: Yes.. They are Hebarn's minions after all...
Lilith: But their numbers might be too great, even for you alone...
Junon: I've faced far more greater numbers than this... I can handle this...
Kirnale: If you say so milord...
Maru: Prepare yourselves! The enemy is about to attack!
Moro: Are they approaching?!
Maru: Yeah! And they're moving real fast!
Sugar: Here's come the enemy!
Eriol: I'll stay here for healing and summoning...
Elysia: Me and Namiele will try to eliminate the enemy with our magic.
Namiele: Yes.. we shall do our best....
Larg: Puu! I'll help out as well!
Kirnale: Alright then.. everything is set!
Lucid: Yeah.. Let's prepare to fight!

Soon, the dark army arrived and the commander went in front...

Dark Commander: Hey you! All of you must submit right now to the reign of the dark goddess or die!
Junon: Not in a million years!
Lucid: Yeah! We wont give up that easily!
Dark Commander: Very well then. Everyone! Attack! Kill at will!
Elysia: Now's the time to fight back! Attack!
Lucid: Let's rush the enemy and do aforward push!
Junon: But what ever you do, don't let any one of them get near the tree!
All: Right!

Soon, the battle has begun, meteorites flying everywhere, bodies of dead soldiers starting to pile up, Kirnale, Maru, Moro, Lucid and Junon are starting to gain kills through melee comabt.. Soon the field was littered with blood and many bodies are lying on the floor.. But the battle ravaged on, and soon the visitors are starting to get tired...

Lucid: This is getting a bit too exhausting..
Kirnale: Yeah.. Cant kepp up...
Maru and Moro: We're both tired...
Lilith: And there are plenty more where they came from...

Seeing this, the Dark commander taunted them...

Dark Commander: Hahaha! Seems the legendary visitors have a limit after all... Now prepare to die!

Just as the dark army was about to overrun them.. Sparks of lightning and more firebolts were hurled from the sky... And soon, The Tree, as well as Elysia, Namiele and Eriol glowed with shimmering light....

Chapter 44: The cry of the planet

Soon, all of the visitors arrived at near the great tree of wisdom, where the God Junon awaits...

Lucid: What do you wish to speak to us, our lords?
Junon: It is... about the situation of the planet itself...
Lilith: Is the corruption far worse than we have ever imagined?
Junon: Unfortunately... Yes.... The devil pest has spread throughout the realm, even in this forest...
Tree of Wisdom: I agree... This forest.. Once filled with tame creatures, has finally gone mad... Oh I forgot to introduce myself... I am Yggdrasil, the tree of infinite wisdom... I am the lore keeper of this realm and I know all about this planet; of it's joys and pains...
Elysia: Exactly what do you mean by... Joys and Pains?
Yggdrasil: those are the cries of this planet... This planets will resonates through my roots and I feel it... Now it experiences great pain...
Larg: And I'm guessing, it's the work of the devil pest?
Yggdrasil: Yes.... you see, Many years ago, Junon was a beautiful place... But because the Goddess Hebarn and her minions spread the devil pest... The planet started to feel pain, because of the corruption of the virus...
Junon: And thus, part of your mission is this, right?
Kirnale: Yes... To stop the devil pest...
Namiele: But then, we dont know how we could stop it...
Eriol: I still remember what Chief Spinel said: That there is a weapon somewhere in the gorge of silence that could help us in this quest...
Junon: there is... It's called the sword of the ancients... Orlo made it for your use.. But you must prove yourself worthy to acquire a powerful artifact...
Lucid: But how could we prove ourselves, and where in the Gorge of silence is it?
Yggdrasil: My lord... Let me show them first what might happen if they fail their mission...
Junon Oh yes.. I forgot... Do it...
Yggdrasil: As you wish... Ok then... everyone close your eyes, you will see what might happen in the future.....

Soon, the Tree of wisdom's eyes began to shine.. and suddenly everyone saw a vision...

Maru: What is this realm?
Moro: Why is the sky red?
Sugar: The fields are burning...
Elysia: Covered in blood...
Larg: Is this.. Is this the future of this realm?
Yggdrasil: Not only of this realm but also of the other realms and galaxies... If you dont stop Hebarn now, then all will be like this... And evil and chaos will reign...
Namiele: horrible...
Eriol: I'm... totally horribifed...
Kirnale: We cant let this happen!
Lilith: Yeah.. We dont want this realm to be lost to the darkness!
Lucid: Yes... We must fight the darkness to give way to the light!
Yggdrasil: Very well then...

Soon, the visitors returned to the realm world... Then Junon approached Lucid...

Junon: Find the Worm dragon in the gorge of silence, there you must fight him to get the weapon you seek...
Yggdrasil: A large army is about to come!
Junon: What army?
Yggdrasil: The army of darkness is about to arrive!
Junon: All of you, prepare yourselves! A great battle will come!

And so, the visitors started preparing themselves, for a bloody battle is about to begin at the forest of wisdom...

Chapter 43: The forest of Wisdom (Part 4)

When the visitors arrive, the God Junon was waiting for them near the now active Tree of Wisdom. Suddenly a great feast appeared and the visitors are now enjoying themselves in that celebration... Afterwards, the visitors went to the different places in the forest to satisfy their curiosity.. Soon, Maru, Moro and Sugar approached the aged Tree of Wisdom out of curiosity...

Maru: Wow, such a nice tree...
Moro: It's really big!
Maru: And Really Old...
Sugar: Hmmm.. It has a face and a mouth, what is it?
Tree of Wisdom: Greetings, young ones....
Maru: What was that?
Moro: Whose voice is it?!
Tree of Wisdom: It is me... The tree of wisdom...
Sugar: The tree... Speaks?!
Maru and Moro: It's a ghost! Run!!!
Tree of Wisdom: Please dont be afraid of me...

Soon, hearing all the Ruckus, Elysia, Larg and the God Junon approached the threesome near the old tree...

Elysia: Whats going on?
Larg: Yah.. What is it?
Maru: The tree... It's scary...
Moro: The tree is haunted!!!
Junon: Nonsense! It's the wise old tree of wisdom... He knows all of the happenings in the realm.. And he also knows about the corruption that spreads throughout this land...
Tree of Wisdom: Yes... And I shall tell you more, but first, call the others...
Junon: Speaking of which... Where the heck are they?!
Larg: Oh yeah, Lucid and Lilith are just atop one of the mountains nearby.. They want to see the full view of the Tree of Wisdom...
Elysia: Also.. Kirnale, Namiele and Eriol are still on the nearby forest, examining the tall yet strange plants...

Soon, Larg went out to the where the other visitors are located.. Meanwhile.. Lucid and Lilith are just atop the mountain watching the majestic view of the whole forest...

Lucid: You know... This realm is beautiful...
Lilith: It is beautiful..
Lucid: There are some many beautiful palces in this realm.. yet... WE dont have the time to visit them all...
Lilith: After all we have a mission to fulfill....
Lucid: Yeah... I just hope we can survive to see the other visitors who will come to help us...
Lilith: Yes.. and then we can explore this realm...
Larg: Finally, I've found you!
Lucid: What is it Larg?
Larg: Junon needs you guys at the Tree of Wisdom now!
Lucid: Ah I see...
Lilith: I understand... Let's go!
Larg: I'll go look for the others... Puu!

Soon, Larg, teleported to the nearby bamboo forest, where kirnale, Namiele and Eriol examines the tall yet strange looking plants...

Kirnale: Such nice plants...
Namiele: I wonder how could these last against the strings winds coming from the nearby breezy hills?
Eriol: Look, they have hollow interiors!
Namiele: Maybe that one reason why they're sturdy...
Kirnale: Possibly... Perhaps we can exploit this plant some more...
Larg: Everyone! You must proceed to the tree of wisdom at once!
Kirnale: How come?!
Larg: It's really urgent! You must come!
Eriol: Alright then...
Namiele: Sure... Let's go!

Soon, Namiele, Eriol and Kirnale teleported directly to the tree of wisdom... Where the aged old tree as well as the God Junon, will tell them of what happened now and what will happen later...

Chapter 42: The forest of Wisdom (Part 3)

The visitors are running away from their pursuers, but as they run away, they suddenly entered the forest of wisdom... As the visitors travel through the forest, they noticed a strange aura going through the forest... They feel as if a strong magical force was nearby...

Elysia: Strong magical power... Really close by!
Namiele: Yes.. I could sense it as well...
Eriol: Same here...
Larg: Me too! Puu!
Lucid: Hmm... Could it be that the large tree is doing all this?
Elysia: Possible.. But we cant be too sure...
Kirnale: Hmmm... I'll call on a hawk and take a look...

Soon, Kirnale summoned his trusted hawk and used it to scout the area near the tree... Soon, it spotted a large shining orb near the tree... It returned and nodded it's head, signifying there is a person or an object near the area...

Kirnale: My hawk saw something..
Lilith: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!
Lucid: Ok then.. but Let's stay cautious!

Meanwhile, as the visitors approach the tree of wisdom... The dark commander meets up with Medusa to discuss the situation about the escaped visitors...

Medusa: What do you mean escaped?!
Dark CommandeR: Yeah.. Apparently, their other mage threw a meteorite at us and created a large dust cloud... Thus they escaped...
Medusa: You fools! You should've just attacked with your ranged weapons!
Dark Commander: Forgive us, milady! We will not fail the Dark Goddess again!
Medusa: Make sure that you do, otherwise, you will all suffer!

Then, medusa teleports back to Hebarn, as the Dark commander goes to his forces and starts giving out commands....

Dark commander: Listen up, All of you! We must not fail this time! The dark goddess ordered us to find and destroy those visitors before they get to the great weapon! We must increase our effeorts to stop them at all costs! Otherwise, we shall all be doomed! Understand that?
All: Sir! yes sir!
Dark commandeR: Good. Now go, go go!!!

And with that, the troops mobilized... In the forest however, the visitors are near the tree and then they they saw the tree of wisdom alive... and in front of it, a shining orb of light...

Lucid: What is it?
Sugar: that must be the God Junon...
Maru: Wow.. shining...
Moro: Yeah.. really bright...
Sugar: Look, the light is starting to get dimmer!

Soon, the light faded and the person was revealed... It was none other than Junon himself...

Junon: dont worry, my children.. we will have a lot to talk about.. But we must rest for a while... Let's feast...

Soon, a banquet suddenly appeared and the visitors started feasting... For later, much is yet to be revealed....

Chapter 41: The forest of Wisdom (Part 2)

As soon as the visitors returned to anima lake, they noticed that the realm was really silent... even as they go through the path that leads to the forest of wisdom, still it was silent. The visitors noticed this and they began wondering about this strange occurence....

Lilith: Strange, usually this place should be filled with many creatures..
Kirnale: Indeed... Usually this place should be swarming with those monsters...
Lilith: even the lake is empty...
Elysia: That's normal... We've just killed their king...
Sugar: Yeah... But it's possible the aqua's just moved to another place of course...
Larg: But still, at least there should be some aquas staying after all...
Lucid: Well, in any case, we should stay vigilant. They might be planning a sneak attack on us...
Elysia: I agree... This silence must be the calm before the storm..
Eriol: Yeah... Perhaps it's best to be extremely careful about this...
Namiele: Right. Be on your guard, everyone!

soon, they fought, and was able to save Maru and Moro...

Moro: Same here... The battle was rough...
Lilith: There's too many of them!
Kirnale: Yeah.. we cant keep up!

Soon, the Commander of the dark forces arrived, and then the fighting suddenly stopped...

Commander: Hear me visitors! Surredner now! You have no chance of winning this war!
Larg: Says who?
Sugar: Yeah... you can never stop us!
Commander: Even now that your'e outnumbered and our power is much superior than yours?

The visitors are silent... Then Lucid huddled with the visitors...

Lucid: Dammit... They outnumber us 10 to 1...
Lilith: They 10 times as many as the armies we've faced before...
Kirnale: We cant just fight them now...
Elysia: Then in this case, it's best for us to escape. i'll make the distraction. Prepare yourselves!

Soon, the Commander was furious...

Commander: I need an answer and I need it-
Elysia: You want an answer? Then answer this! Meteorite flow!

Soon, the meteorites hit some of the creatures and it created a huge dust cloud covering the area... Soon, Elysia gave the word...

Elysia: Go! Now! hurry! This wont last long!
Lucid: Alright, guys! Let's go!
Commander: Come back here!

When the dust settled, the visitors are gone... And the commander was totally frustrated...

Commander: This is not good! We must find them! All of you, let's go to the forst of wisdom! We'll find them there!

As the commander prepares his forces, the visitors quickly slip away into the forest of wisdom, where the god junon, as well as the tree of wisdom wait...

Chapter 40: The forest of wisdom(part 1)

Back at the village, Lucid and Lilith did a final check on the visitors' supplies for the journey ahead...

Lucid: Is everything there?
Lilith: Let me check... We got weapons, food, some stronger crafting materials, and some other stuff....
Lucid: Good... What about potions?
Lilith: Potions are here, I've also have some materials incase we need to make more potions...
Lucid: Anything else?
Lilith: None. Except of course for the other stuff the other guys need...
Lucid: Well, I hope they could find what they need in a rapid pace... We're planning to leave by noon...
Lilith: Yeah.. i hope they do this fast...

Meanwhile, Maru, Moro and Sugar went to the town market to get some food...

Maru: Talk about complexities... This market is huge and confusing!
Moro: Not to mention, filthy and smelly.. ewww!
Maru: Yeah.. But they say the cheapest food can be found here....
Sugar: Now now, we cant just judge the place by it's looks, we might find something useful here...
Moro: I suppose... look! food!
Maru: How much is it?
Vendor: 24 gold pieces!
Maru: Hey, it is cheap!
Moro: I agree! Let's go do some shopping!
Sugar: Yeah!

As Maru, Moro and Sugar did their shopping frenzy, Kirnale, Eriol, Namiele, Elysia and Larg are at a nearby cafe, discussing about the ikaness order...

Eriol: You mean to say that Ikaness is not directly controlled by the Goddess?
Elysia: Probably.. After all, they're just mindless slaves to the Goddess.
Larg: Yeah... They still have their free will, although it is warped and twisted...
Namiele: I suppose...
Kirnale: But how does that explain what happened in the battle a few days ago?
Larg: Simple. They're just following orders... Apparently, someone who was influenced and assigned by the Dark Goddess to plan this commanded them to...
Kirnale: I suppose, but does that mean the Goddess interfered?
Elysia: Possible, but I dont think she can interfere directly....
Namiele: Perhaps... But are you saying there is someone who is linked to the dark goddess is behind the attacks?
Eriol: It's possible of course...
Kirnale: But we cant be certain...
Larg: Oh no! It's almost noon!
Elysia: Let's go meet up Lucid outside town!

Soon, the rest of the visitors met up with Lucid and Lilith outside the town...

Lucid: Where have you been guys?
Maru and Moro: Shopping!
Lilith: That explains the bags of food.... how about you, Elysia and friends?
Elysia: A cafe... We needed some relaxing moments of course...

Soon, Spinel arrived holding a tome...

Spinel: I wish you farewell in your journey... Take this.. It's a tome that contains secrets about the other places in the realm...
Lucid: Thanks...
Spinel: Oh yeah... I saw a dream last night... You must meet up with the God Junon at the forest of wisdom, near the great tree of wisdom...
Lilith: Really?
Spinel: Yes. Now go! Time is not at your side!
Lucid: Alright. Farewell then!
All: Bye!

And so the visitors left, in search for a solution to end the problems in the realm of Junon....

Chapter 39: The god of adventure

As the Visitors prepared themselves for their long journey ahead... In the realm of the Gods, Paradise... the Gods and Demigods are having a dilemma over what should they do about the devil pest in the other areas...

Eldeon: This is too much! We cant wait for the visitors to come to each and every planet to stop the devil pest!
Karkia: (Wears mask of anger)the pace of the visitors is too slow! We cant wait for long!
Ska: I know they may seem slow, but I know they are on the right track.
Orlo: So what?! They're being slow and all! I know slow and steady is better than rushed work, but we no longer have the luxury of time! If they keep this pace up, most of the planets will be in ruin!
Eldeon: I agree. If they keep on moving slowly... Then we'll all be doomed. oh yeah, thats one of those times that your'e serious orlo..
Orlo: Thanks well- Wait a minute! is that an insult?!
Eldeon: No, but being the noob that you are, you'll probably misunderstand me.
Orlo: Stop doing that!
Phage: My lords! Enough! We cant waste time arguing about this!
Lilith(Demigod): She's right! We must find a way to help the visitors on their journey...
Karkia: But how should we?! We cant directly interfere after all...
Lilith(Demigod): We can use the fairies..
Eldeon: Salt and Pepper are busy helping Altana on Luna. Sugar is with the visitors.
Phage: Well, we need other ways-
Junon: I'll come.

As soon as they heard Junon's voice, the Gods looked behind. Junon was fully equipped and ready to go.

Junon: My wife was kind enough to prepare me to help the visitors, and I shall guide them and aide them in their battles.
Eldeon: You cant be serious! our powers have not yet recovered, and you want to help them?! That's suicide!
Karkia: Yeah.., Much of our power is nearly gone! And the pillar of light is about to totally fade!
Junon: Yes. But I must go. They need my help.
Orlo: What are you saying?! isn't Lucid's weapon in the gorge enough?!
Junon: It isnt. They minions of Hebarn are getting stronger by the second and they need all the help they can get!
Ska: I fear for you safety father.
Junon: I know my child. But this is for everyone's sake. Should I fall, continue the fight for me.
Ska: Fatehr... I... Very well then.
Orlo: But milord-
Yuuko: Let him be.

Soon, Yuuko came out of a portal from the ceiling.

Yuuko: Surprised to see me again?
Junon: Not that surprised.
Phage: What do you want?
Lilith(Demigod): State your concerns!
Yuuko: I'm just here to spectate as well. I know my student is doing her best in doing what is right.
Eldeon: They all are fighting for what is right!
Yuuko: Are you sure what they fight for is the right thing?
Orlo: Hoe can it be? Of course it's correct!
Yuuko: But how can you be certain? Nothing is sure in this world. whats right for one person is wrong for another. Everyone or even everything has it's own point of view after all....
Junon: I suppose... But still, I'll help them for it is right.
Yuuko: Very well then. do what you must.
Orlo: But-
Yuuko: Dont interfere! that's his decision. He is the God of adventure after all...
Eldeon: VEry well then. Good luck.
Ska: Yes. please come back safely...
Junon: I will. And shall bring good news as well!
Phage: Farewell then!
Lilith(Demigod): Farewell...

soon, Junon descended to the city where the visitors are. Meanwhile, Yuuko approached Ska...

Yuuko: Ska.. You know your father is quite brave...
Ska: Yeah.. He cares so much for the visitors and the nomads...
Yuuko: However, his actions might even be the death of him..
Ska: What do you mean?!
Yuuko: If he does one wrong move, then it's game over.

yuuko: But dont worry, I'm sure everyone will be able to survive the chaos ahead...
