Chapter 13: Luna's Demise (Part 2)

Moon Pastor Laguz is one of the most powerful shamanists in the realm. As the leader of the Moon Pastors, the so-called, High Council of the Shamanists, he is expected to be one of the most powerful suppostive spellcasters of all. One day, while exploring the Crystal Snowfields, he as well as his servant, Genki, found a book that contains some sort of mystical power.

Genki: Look master! I've found a book!
Laguz: Wait a moment! Don't open it yet!
Genki: How come?
Laguz: It may be cursed! But wait.. What does the title of the book say?
Genki: It says... "The Teiwaz Doctrine"...
Laguz: Hmmm... This must be the book of divine magics! Finally we can now know the secrets of the Gods!
Genki: Really?
Laguz: Yes! Apparently, legend says that this book contains all the magical secrets the Gods are hiding for millenia...
Genki: This should be great milord! We should tell the others!
Laguz: Not yet! I should verify the content of this book...
Genki: Are you going back to the temple?
Laguz: Yes. Go tell the others who are waiting for me at Eucar to go back home... I'm gonna have a long night ahead of me...
Genki: At once, milord!

Laguz was unaware that the "sacred" tome that he is holding is actually a cursed book... When Hector saw this, he immediately returned to Hebarn and reported what had happened.

Hector: Milady, good news! The fool Laguz has taken the dark tome!
Hebarn: Excellent! All we need to do now is to wait and see what chaos will he open! He will be such a fool that he will be corrupted by my darkness!
Hector: And then, we can now start the seige on the other planets?
Hebarn: Yes. And soon, All shall feel the wrath of darkness!!!!!

At the exact same moment, Laguz had just arrived in his room at the temple. He read the inscription on the front cover of the book.

Laguz: "He who wishes to read this book shall gain all the wisdom of the Gods... but with a price...." Hmmm... The text is blurry from that point onwards... Oh well... It cant be that bad, 'no?

But when he opened the book, thunderbolts started to stab the ground outside the temple and a drizzling storm has begun. Soon, the book released dark gas and lightning bolts... soon, dark spirits came out of the book and one of them entered Laguz.

Dark Spirit: Fool! Haven't you realized that you've released utter chaos in this World?!
Laguz: No! I can't let you get out of this temple!
Dark Spirit: Very well then. Then I shall steal your body and destroy your tribe! Hahahahahaha!!!!!

At that moment, Laguz was possessed by the Dark Spirit. the other shamanists who were inside were possessed as well... And soon the Temple became a center of death and decay... When the other moon pastors in eucar saw the storm, the were in shock.

Moon Pastor 1: Whats happening?!
Moon Pastor 2: Something's wrong at the temple! We should go there!

Est, a young shamanist, was just passing by the city when he saw the shamanists going out of the city.

Est: What's going on?
Shamanist: There is something bad going in the temple! We should hurry!
Est: Alright, let's go!

When Luna found out what is happening, she was shocked.

Luna: Say what?! Laguz opened a dark tome?
Phage: Yes. It seems that Laguz has opened a mysterious tome that released all sorts of evil.
Luna: Oh no.. I must go there at once!
Phage: It might be too dangerous, my lady!
Luna: But I must help them, I must!

And so, Luna rushed to the Temple, not knowing that Hebarn had set up a trap for her in the Planet of Magic....
