Chapter 14: Luna's Demise (Part 3)

As Est and the other shamanists approached the temple, He saw the other moon pastors having a meeting. He spoke to the eldest of them all, Kimius.

Est: Lord, Kimius, what's happening?
Kimius: Laguz, the greatest of the moon pastors has become a infidel! H eopened a forbidden book that made him and the other shamanists turn against us! He is now a heretic and we shall hunt him down!
Est: Let me help you!
Kimius: Good timing, Est! We need all the help we can get!

And so they moved on to the temple, but when the got to the entrance they are shocked...

Kimius: In Luna's name!
Est: Oh no...

They saw many monsters roaming around the crystal snowfields. They attacked all the shamanists who are still fighting against Laguz who was still inside the temple.

Shamanist # 1: We cant hold on much longer!
Shamanist # 2: But we must! We've got to kill the heretic otherwise this world will be lost!
Est: I'll help you!

Soon, Est summoned his legendary firegon, draeconus, and started on the counter offensive.

Est: Eat this!!!!
Dark Minion: Fool! Your summons are useless!
Est: Oh yeah? try this on for size!

Est destroyed the dark being and many others. Soon, he cleared a path for the moon pastors to enter the Temple, while the other shamanists tried their best to destroy the other minions. As they Passed through the desecrated hallways, they were surprised on how much chaos the temple has witnessed...

Est: Oh no.. Laguz has turned this into a killing bastion...
Kimius: Don't worry, we shall try our best to destroy Laguz, and force him to pay for his crimes.

When they reached Laguz' room, they were surprised that Laguz had grown and had looked like a demon.

Laguz: Greetings, mortals!
Kimius: Laguz! Because you have betrayed the sacred code of the Shamanists, we of the Moon Pastor Council will remove you from the council and consider you, a Heretic!
Laguz: Ha! What good will that do? Can your powers be enough to kill me?
Kimius: Let's see... Pastors, attack!

And so... The moon pastors tried to seal off Laguz with a powerful spell that seals any kind of evil. But as then...

Laguz: Ha! that will never work on me. Rooooooaaaaaaaarrrrrr!!!!!!

With an instant, he sent off a powerful shockwave that killed all the moon pastors except Kimius, who was dragged out by Est who was right behind the door.

Est: Lord kimius!
Kimius: Est... You're now the new head of the shamanists.. Tell them that we are dead, and that all of them should return to the city of Eucar at once.
Est: But what of you?!
Kimius: don't worry, our bodies will burn.. But our spirits will persist... We shall be at your side during your journeys... but promise me, to keep the flame of the shamanists alive.....

And with that, Kimius died, and his body had started to burn....

Est: Rest, in peace, milord....

and so, Est ran to the exit, but it was filled with monsters, but the other shamanists found him in the nick of time...

Shamanist: What happened?
Est: The Moon Pastor Council was killed by Laguz... But We shouldn't lose hope! for now we must return to the city of Eucar! but first we must seal off the temple so that the evil will never again set foot on this planet again!
All: Right!

And so, they casted all sorts of spells to collapse the entrance to the Temple. And soon, they were successful. The remaining monsters are still being hunted down... And as day turns to night, Est looks to the West, contemplating...

Est: Lord Kimius, I shall keep your promise.

But meanwhile at the Sea of Dawn, Luna is about to enter her final fight against the Dark goddess and some of the escaped corrupted shamanists...
