Chapter 20: The Devil Pest (Part 2)

As soon as Medusa and Hector left the planet, a lowly wisp came out of the dark and rushed towards the Divine tree Meridian, where Eldeon made refuge inside the trunk of the great tree. The wisp arrived, and Eldeon approached the young wisp.

Wisp: Milord... It appears that the Sikuku Chieftain Turak has fallen... And it's because of Hebarn's new venom called the Devil Pest that corrupts the person infected with it as well as all he touches!
Eldeon: How much of the forest have they corrupted?
Wisp: Only a small part... But Me thinks Turak and Some of his Guard are heading straight to the Sikuku Village...
Eldeon: Oh no... this is not good... you must head straight to the tree of wisdom outside Meridian and there contact all the great guardians to destroy Turak before he reaches the Village!
Wisp: What will you do?
Eldeon: I'll go to paradise and contact Junon and Arua. I'll need their help on this...
Wisp: Yes... I understand.
Eldeon: Now Go! Time is of the essence!

And so the Wisp left... He was able to reach the great tree of wisdom, Wairuha who is still sleeping. He used all his spiritual energy to wake up the sleeping ancient...

Wairuha: Yawn... why did you disturb my sleep?
Wisp: Turak, the strongest of the Sikuku's has been corrupted along with some others! We need the help of all the creatures of the jungle!
Wairuha: Indeed... I'm feeling the effects of the Corruption already.. Where's master Eldeon?
Wisp: He left to call on the other Gods...
Wairuha: Very well then... Then Perhaps it's time to call them all...

Soon, the tree started chanting...

Wairuha: Great ancients of the Jungle, heed my call! In Eldeon's name, destory the corruption that lingers around the trees! I call upon thee to crush all the evil in this place and cleanse this realm of evil! Now rise!

The power of the spell was so great, all of the creatures of the jungle have responded... But with a price... Wairuha drained all his power thus he returned to his slumber... However, it was enough to call all the creatures and attack Turak and his minions.. However...

Corrupted Sikuku: Look, the denizens of the jungle are turning against us!
Turak: Do not fear them! With our newfound power, no one can stop us! Charge!!!

And because of the dark power inside them, they we're able to destroy the creatures and they're able to corrupt some of them as well. But while they are approaching the Sikuku Village, Eldeon has arrived at Paradise. He saw Arua and Junon doing alchemy.

Arua: Hmmm.. Perhaps a little mercury should do the trick?
Junon: Maybe.. Just place in some salt and-
Eldeon: My lords! come quick! My planet is in trouble! A strange venom known as the devil pest is sweeping across the planet!
Arua: This must be Hebarn's fault! She must be responsible for this!
Junon: Yes.. Even now... She's still wreacking havoc across the planet...
Eldeon: Please hurry! If the devil pest corrupts everything, then Eldeon is lost! We can't let that happen!
Junon: Agreed. We must go then.
Arua: Right.

As the Gods prepared to return to Eldeon, at the planet Hebarn, the dark lady as well as Medusa and Hector are having a feast for the success of the Devil Pest.

Hebarn: Yes! With this new venom, the realm will belong to me, and the Gods will surely die!
Hector: But what if the Gods find an antidote for this?
Medusa: Don't worry, the Venom has different strains, but they still work the same way.
Hector: Yes... Wait.. It seems that the Gods are heading back to Eldeon to try and stop the Devil Pest!
Medusa: I'll handle them...
Hebarn: No. I'll handle them. You'll come along as back-up. And make sure you bring lots of Devil Pest Vials.
Medusa: Right.
Hector: Are you sure? This isn't like the lest time wherein Luna came in alone...
Hebarn: Don't worry. They will soon feel the pain and suffering of pure darkness! They will succumb to my command and I will become absolute God of this realm!!! Hahahahaha!!!!!

And with all this said and done, Hebarn and her dark minions prepared for their 2nd encounter with Arua, Junon and Eldeon.
