Chapter 22: The Portal

Arua, Junon and Eldeon are en route to Junon. Meanwhile at the Adventurer's plains, Phage, Altana and Liltih are roaming around the fields searching for possible traces of any of Hebarn's tricks...

Phage: Any sign of strange occurences there?
Lilith: None on the Goblin Cave so far...
Altana: None on the other areas either.. This is the last place we haven't looked...
Phage: Yes... Let go search!
Lilith Yes- wait! Look! There's some sort of... gateway opening nearby!
Altana: Yes... The light is similar to that of the pillar of light... Only much brighter...

Soon, the trio approached the portal and they are amazed on how big the portal is...

Lilith: Wow.. It's like some sort of dimensional hole!
Phage: Yes... This might lead us to anywhere... It might bring us to HEbarn or to Paradise or even to the realm where it all began...
Altana: Possibly... But It could be a trap from hebarn!
Phage: Only one way to find out... Let's seal it!

Soon, the demigods tried to seal the portal, but in vain.. Their powers are not strong enough to close it.

Phage: Hmmm... It's not working!
Lilith: Maybe Hebarn placed in too much energy in it...
Altana: Perhaps.. Maybe we should-
Arua: Do not touch that portal!

Soon, Arua and the other Gods arrived.

Phage: My lady! How was the battle?
Arua: We won.. for now... We're able to thwart their plan to destroy us.. But the Devil Pest had started spreading across the realm...
Junon: It was too late, but I believe that this portal will be the key to our salvation.
Orlo: So.. This is the portal that you speak of eh? What does it do then?
Ska: Yes, is it possible that this is just a trap set up by Hebarn?
Junon: Only one way to find out!
Altana: You're not saying...
Lilith: He's going into the portal?!
Arua: Are you sure?
Junon: Yes... Now I'm going in!

Soon, Junon entered the portal... The gods waited for 2 hours.... soon, they got tired of waiting..

Orlo: This is hopeless! By now, Junon should be dead!
Ska: Don't say that! I know he'll come out!
Eldeon: Calm down! Let's just hope he'll get out sefely...
Altana: Yes... But what if- Hey look!

soon, Junon came out. And they saw his expression on his face...

Junon: I saw many worlds there! All containing Life! this portal is a method of teleporting beings from other realms into this one!
Karkia: (Wears mask of Joy) So that means... anyone can enter this portal?!
Junon: Yes. However, they will still have their memories.. So-
Karkia: Leave it to me! I'll makes sure that as they pass through here, they'll forget everything they knew before!
Eldeon: Good Thinking!
Arua: Yes.. this Portal will eb our beacon of hope. Let every adventurer who passes here help us save this realm from Hebarn's wrath!
All: Yes!
Junon: Well then, should we start the preparations?
Arua: Yes.
Junon: Alright! Let's beatify this place!
All: Yeah!

And so, they started working on the adventurer's plains but as they worked hard, The Devil Pest is now starting to spread faster than before and has begun infecting the other planets except Junon...
